This reportage project was an assignment for my Editorial Illustration course at UWEC. We were tasked with interviewing someone we knew, or attending a community event, and creating a report based on this experience. I chose to interview my Dad about his experience during Operation Desert Storm. This series is about his experience, and is not meant to reflect anyone else's lived experience in the military or in this conflict.
The four illustrations are meant to flow into one another, stimulating the reader as if they were paging through an imaginary magazine.
