THE CABIN
The Cabin is a historic music venue and coffee shop at the Davies Center on UW-Eau Claire's campus. In an effort to reflect the nostalgia and history of the venue in the newly renovated facility, a series of four posters was commissioned to be displayed on the walls of the coffee shop. This project's main objective was modernizing the original posters, while still holding on to the feeling of the musician. The four artists who were selected are local acts, like Shane Leonard, and national acts, like Smash Mouth and Third Eye Blind. I was given total freedom as to how to apply the imagery and style the posters, so all editorial decisions are my own.
